Calendula - yellow

Calendula - yellow

CA$3.00

A solid yellow blooming version of this self-seeding annual. Originates in Europe but a beautiful nectar source for our local North American pollinators.

Calendula flowers look like daisies and are memorable for its sunshiny presence in the garden. It keeps on flowering right up until (and even after) the frost. Sprinkle the petals on top of salad for a gorgeously enticing plate. As a herbal medicine Calendula is valuable for its power to heal injuries and infections (both internally and topically).
